Customer complains that his spaghetti is cold.

Well at least we got some summer. I happened to be in Dun Laoire over the past few weeks and it was more like Fuertaventura than Dublin. Hundreds of people in the sea from early morning till 9 or 10 at night.
A big wheel with all the fun-fair trappings, giant cruise ship parked up in  the Harbour, hundreds of freshly grilled and deep fried people of all shapes, sizes, genders, and nationalities and of course tons of ice cream.

In Ireland we tend to prefer the whipped variety, personally I like to stand in front of 6 to 10 flavours of handmade Italian ice cream and mix a tub, or even better go all the way to ice cream heaven and have a Spaghetti Ice Cream.
If you've never experienced a Spaghetti Ice Cream or to give it it's correct name Saghettieis, in the depths of Summer then you have missed out on one of summers great experiences. It was first served in the German city of Mannheim in the late 1960's by an Italian ice cream maker named Fontanella.. Ice Cream is passed through a  press and comes out looking like spaghetti. It is served on fresh cream and topped with Strawberry sauce (Tomato sauce) and then sprinkled with coconut flakes, almond slices or white chocolate shavings (Parmesan).  It's to die for.

I am certain that if you eat too many you probably would keel over. But what a way to go! It's also great fun as it can be made to look exactly like the ubiquitous Spaghetti with tomato sauce, and then finished off with a mint leaf or if you really are adventurous a basil leaf. You can also make it at home using a hand press .
Maybe I can talk the boss into serving it at some of our stations.
