This is what a new solar road looks like and if you think it will be a long time coming you could be "mighty mistaken", as the man who always played himself - John Wayne, would say.

Unfortunately you won't be able to use one like this to get to the new Applegreen motorway station at Cullenmore, Co Wicklow on the N11. Just opened it offers all the usual Applegreen hospitality, convenience, and fine facilities. It also provides a welcome stop off point on the journey to the sunny south-east. Drop in say hello. Don't wait for the solar road -  but it is much closer than you think
