Giving makes a difference.

I have to tell you the latest news for the Applegreen Charity Fund . But before I do I have to say how unbelievably proud the company is of the Charitable Funds' work, the customers contributions, and especially the commitment of Petrogas staff across Ireland and the UK who have not only supported the Charity Funds' work but also supplemented it with events and projects which they themselves have organized. A big shout out to Adrian Giffney Charity Fund Chairperson and his team. In all my time working I have never met a more motivated and motivational bunch of people. Here's a quick run-down of the Charity Fund figures for the latest quarter.

The 2nd quarterly Applegreen Charitable Fund donation for 2013 to Console is €17,175.82  In addition, site events and collection boxes have raised a further €9192.17 (which shows just how committed staff have become to the Charity endeavour) This brings the total charitable fund transfer to Console alone for this quarter to €26,367.99
The 2nd quarterly Applegreen Charitable Fund donation for 2013 to Jack & Jill  is €10,992.82.
In addition, site events and collection boxes have raised a further €10,046.47
This brings the total charitable fund transfer to Jack and Jill for this quarter to €21,039.29

Petrogas, it's customers and staff acknowledge the great work these two organizations do and are delighted to be in a position to help. Jack and Jill  Children's Foundation provides direct funding to families of children with brain damage who suffer severe intellectual and physical development delay. By their calculation this money amounts to a whopping 1314 hours of home nursing care. A huge well done to all involved..
