Zebra crossing? Find out why it shouldn't be a problem.

Unfortunately one of the most common ways to see badgers and foxes in Ireland these days is when they are lying dead by the side of the road. Particularly on motorways where traffic is fast and heavy hardly a journey is completed without spotting at least one or two or more dead animals. Of course this is also a major cause of accidents as most drivers will swerve to avoid animals, a deer or badger is also in most cases deadly for the animal and extremely dangerous for the driver and passengers. That's why it should be mandatory to provide animal crossings on motorways. Holland has been building "critter crossings" for years and the figures speak for themselves.
Less accidents, less animals and people injured and killed. A long term win /win for all concerned.
